To generate
a FLV (*.flv) file, it is necessary to set the output format properly.
For that open
the "Profile Settings" dialog window (or make use of the "Properties"
window). In the Main section select "FLV, Flash Video" from
the "Output
Format" list:
Video
encoding parameters.
Go to the Video
section. The following parameters are available here:
Codec - the codec that will be used
for compression of the video stream. This parameter can take one of the
following values:
Sorenson
H.263
Screen
Video
On2
VP6
On2 VP6 codec has a series of extra options.
If it is selected from the list, you can access the options by clicking
"..." button on the right of
the selected codec.
Bitrate
- the number of bits used for representation of one second of the encoded
video stream. The higher its value, the larger the produced file size
and the higher the produced file quality. We guess the optimal value can
be found in an experimental way only. However, it is necessary to remember
that the ratio between the produced file size and quality also depends
on the selected frame
rate and frame size.
Audio encoding parameters.
Go to the Audio
section. The following parameters are available here:
Codec - the codec that will be used
for compression of the audio stream. The given version of Watermark Master
supports only Mpeg Audio Layer-3 codec.
Sampling
Rate - the number of samples used for representation of one
second of the audio stream.This
parameter can take one of the following values:
44100 Hz
22050 Hz
11025 Hz
Channel
- the number of channels in the audio stream. This
parameter can take one of the following values:
Keep original channel
mode - if selected, the source file's channel mode will be used.
Stereo - 2 channels.
Mono - 1 channel.
Bitrate
- the number of bits used
for representation of one second of the audio stream.
