Add watermark Image

Adding Image Watermark

To add a watermark based on a graphic file, click button on the Watermark toolbar or open menu Watermark > Add > Image.

After an Image watermark is added, its properties become available in the "Properties" window.

Main

This section includes the main properties of the Image watermark.

  • Path - the path to the graphic file.

  • Angle - the rotation angle. This parameter can take values from 0 to 360. Click "..." button on the right of the "Angle" caption to set the rotation angle with the help of a special control.

  • Transparency - the value of transparency. This parameter can take values from 0 (completely opaque) to 100 (completely transparent).

  • Resize - the resize value. By default it is equal to 100%, which means the watermark has the original size.

Transparent Color

This section includes properties relating to the transparent color of the Image watermark.

  • Use - indicates whether the transparent color is assigned. If enabled, the following additional parameters become available:

  • Color - the transparent color. All Image watermark's pixels of that color will be made transparent. Click "..." button on the right of the "Color" caption to select the required color. Besides, you can select the transparent color with the help of the Eyedropper tool. For that click button on the Watermark toolbar (or press "CTRL + P") and pick the required color directly from the watermark.

  • Tolerance - defines the range of transparent colors. This parameter can take values from 0 to 255. A low value selects the few colors very similar to the selected color. A higher value selects a broader range of colors.

Advanced

Here the advanced properties of the Image watermark are available.

  • Timeline Mode - defines the logic of watermark's display in accordance with the specified timeline. This parameter can take one of the following values:

    1. Single - if selected, the watermark will be displayed only once in accordance with the specified timeline.

    2. Multiply - if selected, the watermark will be displayed multiple times. First it will be displayed in accordance with the specified timeline. After that the watermark will disappear (for the time defined by the "Timeline Pause" parameter) and appear (for the time equal to the duration of the specified timeline) time and again. In this case the following parameter becomes available:

      • Timeline Pause - the time between the watermark's disappearance and next appearance.

    1. Random - if selected, the watermark will be displayed the specified number of times. It will randomly appear for the time equal to the duration of the specified timeline. In this case the following parameter becomes available:

      • Number of Displays - the number of times the watermark will be displayed.

Effects

This section includes properties that are responsible for applying effects to the Image watermark.

  • Stroke - indicates whether the Stroke effect is applied. To edit the parameters of the effect, click "..." button on the right of the "Stroke" caption.

  • Drop Shadow - indicates whether the Drop Shadow effect is applied. To edit the parameters of the effect, click "..." button on the right of the "Drop Shadow" caption.

  • Bevel and Emboss - indicates whether the Bevel and Emboss effect is applied. To edit the parameters of the effect, click "..." button on the right of the "Bevel and Emboss" caption.

  • 3D - indicates whether the 3D effect is applied. To edit the parameters of the effect, click "..." button on the right of the "3D" caption.

  • Tile - indicates whether the Tile effect is applied. To edit the parameters of the effect, click "..." button on the right of the "Tile" caption.

Most of the above properties can also be modified with the help of the Formatting toolbar or menu Watermark.
